Living Country, more than a fashion, a real lifestyle. To which is dedicated Bucolica – Il Vivere Country, bucolicacountry.com, scheduled in Vaprio d’Adda (Mi) from 23 to 25 May, the first event in Italy dedicated to philosophy and atmospheres of open air life, outside metropolitan areas. Not as a return to the past but as a search for a new kind of well-being based on the needs of today and tomorrow.

The heart of the event consists of a wide exhibition of antique and new furnishings, clothing, objects, fabrics and much more that, valued by the splendid setting of Villa Castelbarco in Vaprio d’Adda, location chosen this year for Bucolica, will be the protagonist of an exhibition-market characterized by a careful selection of companies, professions of the past and innovative proposals: from the house to the garden, from the stable to the patio, from the typical products.

Next to the exhibition-market, Bucolica includes a series of events and special initiatives that will enrich the event, including guided tours to the park and caves of Villa Castelbarco and Bucolica Bike Ride, a bike ride that will connect Milan to Vaprio D’Adda on May 25, organized by Viagginbici. com and FIAB.

Women of flowers, on the other hand, is an exhibition in search of well-being through the landscapes of women designed and realized by the most significant contemporary landscapers, who conceive the garden as a true form of art and as a place of contemplation and culture. And there is also an exhibition of works by Silvia Manazza, an artist who reinterprets everyday materials to give importance to things on which we are not accustomed to dwelling, waste objects, lost memories waiting to re-emerge with softness, irony, delicacy.
