Friday | Afternoon
Book tickets at the Barnes Foundation in the new location. The museum is famous for exhibits of paintings from the Impressionist and Modern period. To follow, a dinner in the excellent restaurant inside the museum, Garden Restaurant, which serves dinner until 20.30, with a tasty martini menu.
The evening continues
Philadelphia we offer the best night life in the USA, so we recommend a glass of the bracket in one of the premises around Rittenhouse Square : Parc Restaurant or Parisian Bistrò . Continue, then, for a Cuban place, in the old part of the city, Cuba Libre, where you dance salsa and merengue until late night.
Saturday / Morning
Start exploring the historic district of the city, at the Independence Visitor Center. Retract tickets to Independence Hall, where the Founding Fathers started the US. In the area, a visit to Liberty Bell or the President’s House commemorates the African slaves who lived and worked here, when Philadelphia was the capital, under President George Washington.
Visit the National Constitution Center to know how America was born and its constitution. Until 2 September the interactive exhibition 1968 is open, which recalls the history of those years and its music.
A lunch stop from City Tavern, a replica, both in the menu and in the uniforms of the staff, of the times of the 13 colonies. Just a 10-minute walk away, Chinatown and Reading Terminal Market are located, both locations offer a wide selection of food for all palates and all shopping propensities.
In the afternoon
A visit to Washington Square, one of the five public parks, conceived and wanted by William Penn, founder of Philadelphia. Continuing towards the Walnut and Chestnut streets there are many vintage shops and exclusive boutiques and department stores, remember that clothing and shoes are tax-free in Philadelphia!

Visit to the museum pole, Benjamin Franklyn Parkway with Museum of Modern Art, where beautiful artistic masterpieces are exhibited, as well as Museum Rodin where they are exposed, even in the gardens, sculptures of the famous French artist like "The Thinker" (The Thinker).
Afternoon
Visit to state penitentiary, today in disuse but still full of charm, Eastern State Penitentiary. In the penitentiary, from the ray plant, the gangster Al Capone was imprisoned, who enjoyed all the luxuries due to his name, and also the bank robber Willie Sutton, who instead fled the structure in 1945, digging an underground tunnel .
