Departure TBDItaly 2014 – Travel Blogger Destination Italy, the event dedicated to the blogosfera held for the second year within TTGIncontri/TTI, the first international b2b tourism fair in Italy organized by TTG Italia that opens Thursday in Rimini. An unmissable event not only for bloggers, but for anyone who takes care of online travel, social media, web marketing and communication.
Could I miss it? Of course not, and I will be there. Invited to participate nothing but as Top Travel Blogger, a nice recognition for the Traveller Company, that in these four years, thanks to all of you readers who follow us assiduously, has been able to place themselves among the most authoritative and followed Italian travel blogs.
More than 300 bloggers of all nationalities are expected at the 3 days of Rimini, including a hundreds of selected Top Bloggers of Travel, Food, Fashion and Culture. In fact, one of the novelties compared to last year, is the participation in the event also of those who do not write only of travel, that however can find interested interlocutors between the tour operators and the representatives of the agencies of tourism that Friday 10 attend Meet Your Blogger Day, b2b dating day on speed date model, during which you can present your blogs and projects and maybe, who knows, lay the foundations for future collaborations.
Or at least this is the hope of many bloggers who dream of transforming the passion for writing and the web into a real job, and never like this year TBDItaly could be a good opportunity to make the big jump. Otherwise, it is an opportunity to have visibility, networking, meet old and new friends known on the net, follow seminars and training sessions highly specialized on the main topics related to online travel and blogging.
Great space is in fact dedicated to training, between meetings, conferences and workshops held by the international gurus of the sector, one more interesting than the other. Impossible to follow them all and really difficult is the choice, however I have already marked on the agenda:
For Thursday 9 October:
- "Innovation in technology: the moves of Expedia" speaker Walter Lo Faro, useful to understand the strategies of one of the big players in the sector;
- "How Blogger Are Shaping Destination Marketing" speaker Melvin Boecher, Keith Jenkins, interesting to grasp the point of view of two top-top travel bloggers on the current revolution in destination marketing;
- "We are in a complicated relationship: The relationship between blogs and newspapers in travel" speaker Cristina Peroglio, a theme that concerns me very closely, since I am both journalist and blogger;
- "Blogger Power" speaker Veruska Anconitano, the title is a little cryptic, but it inspires me.
- One-to-one meetings with Instagramers experts
For Friday 10 October:
- "The social revolution of travel. The power of millions of travellers to change the tourism industry. From bread to gourmet products" speaker Ciro Gechelin, topic of exciting topicality from which I expect interesting ideas of reflection;
- "Google(+), a true Plus for online tourism" speaker Claudio Gagliardini, because G+ is now an indispensable social for us bloggers and it is time to manage my account more professionally;
For Saturday 11 October:
- "Conquer your niche through blogs and social networks", conference moderated by Silvia Badriotto in which travel bloggers compare on the theme of "New Turisms";
- "How to make a successful campaign. What tools to use and how to choose bloggers" speaker Francesca Di Pietro, Cristiano Guidetti, Alessandra Gesuelli, last but not least the event curated by TBNET, the first Italian network of travel bloggers I make proudly part of. If you are at the fair, participate numerous!
