Start today at Expo2015 the Lithuania Tourism Week. If you are planning a tour atExpo2015 in the coming days, do not miss the visit of Lithuania Pavilion, where until 31 May you can discover the country's excellence through special appointments and activities dedicated to visitors.
Three times a day all week, you can test your knowledge of Lithuania taking part in special quizzes. It will also be possible to assist demonstrations of cuisine and tasting of traditional gastronomic products, such as cheeses, pancakes, rye bread, cakes and many other products from cooperatives, family farms and small businesses, and admire handicrafts made of natural materials.
On 27 May from 7:30 pm, the pavilion will host a special evening that will open with a great show with balloon, symbol of Lithuania, which will host the World Cup in Birstonas in 2016. To follow, chef Gianluca Demarco, Italian resident in Vilnius, will show the preparation of the most typical Lithuanian dish, I'm going to go, the beet soup with a characteristic bright pink color. The music will accompany the evening, with the live performance of Regimantas Silinskas, which will propose ancient and modern melodies with the only Lithuanian instrument Skrabal, which visitors can learn to play.
