A Paris, a very hot summer for those who love fashion and glamour in all its declinations. Waiting for sales more chic than the planet, which will leave only in July, I discovered that in the French capital there are currently four exhibitions dedicated to fashion Made in France, one more intriguing than the other. If you are planning a weekend in the villas lumière in the coming months, mark these events on the agenda:
Yves Saint Laurent 1971. The collection of scandals.
Until 19 July at the Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent a tribute to the famous collection of high fashion YSL spring-summer 1971, which made scandal as inspired by the years of war. Short skirts, square shoulders, the recall to the period of Employment, violently criticized by the press, instead became a successful trend that decreed the consecration of the designer on the Parisian catwalks

Until 23 August 2015 Palais Galliera – Musée de la mode de la Ville de Paris, celebrates the oldest French maison still in business with an exhibition set in close collaboration with Alber Elbaz, artistic director of the Maison Lanvin. This is the first retrospective dedicated to the Parisian designer, which brings together a hundred models, from Patrimoine Lanvin and the exceptional funds of the Palais Galliera.

This exhibition, always at the Palais Galliera, until June 28, is a tribute to the many Russian, Armenian, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Belgian creators... who have made great French fashion in the world. Here are some names to give you an idea of the standard of exposure: Azzedine Alaïa, Mariano Fortuny, Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto, Elsa Schiaparelli, Martin Margiela, and again Cristobal Balenciaga, Robert Piguet, Paco Rabanne and Raf Simons. Arrived in the capital for political or artistic reasons, attracted by its culture and innate French elegance, these designers have contributed with their creativity to the success of haute couture and prêt-à-porter that make Paris the undisputed international fashion capital.

Last, but not least, this exposure to Grand Palais until 3 August, it presents new designer garments, both haute couture and prêt-à-porter and also costumes, created between 1970 and 2013. The clothes are at the centre of an eclectic tour, which also includes parades, concerts, video clips, film screenings and dance shows.
