From the necessary documents to the resumption of English, five tips to enjoy the best the States
Programming a travel to America It is not as easy and obvious as you can imagine. There are so many things to think about, the aspects to organize, all you need once landed in foreign land. When you decide to leave, you should not only focus on all the documentation (obviously fundamental) that will serve before and after departure, but also on some gestures that are not important to us, while for Americans are, here it is. Few and simple measures, therefore, will allow not to ruin a journey that, without doubt, will be wonderful.
1- Bring all necessary documents
It seems obvious to say, but without passport in progress of validity does not depart. Since prudence is never too much, bring with you also the identity card and License of driving, however, are recognition documents that may be useful to you.
2- Credit card, Postepay, cash
The optimal solution on American soil is always to use the credit card. Probably we Italians have not yet totally entered the perspective of paying anything with paper, perhaps for negative experiences or whatever, but in America this represents the best solution. Even cash in cash, clearly, they are accepted, it is simply a matter of comfort. Whether you pay with paper or cash, however, remember one thing: leaving the tip is not mandatory, but it is a sign of respect for those who work.

It is a point that must be deepened because, although not mandatory, you will notice that in the receipt of any place where you will go to eat or drink, there is a white space in which to write how much tip you want to leave the waiter who served you. The tip is usually equal to 15% of total, but you can choose the most appropriate number. Remember that, in some places, it is already included in the total sum (so be careful not to leave double tip, if you do not want to finish your money within a few days).
4- Pass the English, if you need it
If you do not have a good knowledge of English you will certainly have a general resumption. There are many ways to refresh your knowledge, but one of the best is to make a English test online. In this way you will have immediate feedback on the level of your English and, before leaving, you will be in time to retrace it a bit.
One last, but not least, notice is related to behavior to be maintained in a place that you do not know: avoided risks of any type, laws and character of law enforcement forces change from city to city and, in order to avoid being in unpleasant situations, it is always better to maintain a certain aplomb.
