Borgo Santandrea hotel Amalfi Coast
The property has undergone radical renovation over the last three years, combining design details Mid-Century with the classic Mediterranean style. They dominate the white and blue shades, next to the typical hand painted geometric tiles, antique furniture and handcrafted pieces by local artisans.
To reach the hotel's private beach, guests have an elevator in the rock or, alternatively, a series of walkways and stairs between the fragrant terraced gardens of olive trees and lemons.
Inspired by the origins of the building, dating back to the 1960s, the owners focused on the original features to create an unmistakably Italian "house", a passionate teamwork that saw committed designers and landscapers to ensure that each corner of the property reflected the artistic touch and craftsmanship of the region of Campania.

The result is that the interiors and gardens are a showcase of the excellence of "Made in Italy": from the pieces "Collezione Heritage" by Molteni & C, to objects personalized by designers of craft furniture such as Tognova and Lisar, to the interventions tailored by local architects, artists and artisans.
Mediterranean cuisine in Restaurants
Under the direction of Michelin-star executive chef Crescenzo Scotti, the three restaurants, La Libreria, Alici and the Beach Club, and two bars, located at the highest points of the hotel, use local products and ingredients for a genuinely Mediterranean cuisine.
Commenting on the opening, Maurizio Orlacchio, General Manager and owner of Borgo Santandrea hotel Costiera Amalfitana said: "We are so excited to open the doors to Borgo Santandrea, it has been a beautiful challenge, in the last three years, to restore the property and I feel proud to have brought so many talented artisans and iconic Italian brands together to create a unique hotel in its kind that is really ‘made in Italy’.
Borgo Santandrea is much more a house than a hotel and we look forward to welcoming our first guests this summer. "
Design Made in Italy
In Borgo Santandrea hotel Costiera Amalfitana guests find 31 different types of handmade geometric tiles, inspired by regional traditions, classic design and by GIO PONTI; white Italian marble from Puglia, Veneto and Tuscany, covers the surfaces around the property and reflects the light from hand blown Venetian glass lamps scattered throughout the hotel.
In the bathrooms the Acqua di Parma toiletries bring the scents of the fragrant Mediterranean gardens surrounding the hotel, where the owners worked alongside the landscape architect Philip Adiuturi to create lush gardens terraced with fruit, colours and plants typical of the coast, including olive trees, lemons, melogranes, jasmines and aromatic myrtle.
Borgo Santandrea hotel Costiera Amalfitana is set in the cliff near Conca dei Marini, a tiny village with a long marine tradition protected as a real natural terrace overlooking the crystal clear sea in one of the most enchanting features of the Coast, a short distance from Amalfi, Positano and Ravello.
Here the air smells of Mediterranean scrub, the famous Emerald Cave opens, characterized by green and turquoise glows, which with its uniqueness adds an extra touch of charm to the resort.
