The first Ferrari theme park, the largest in the world of its kind, opened today to the public, getting a crackling start with thousands of families and enthusiasts who rushed to live the passion, euphoria and technical innovation worthy of the name Ferrari. The Ferrari World Abu Dhabi stands on the spectacular Yas Island, 2,500 hectares of land dedicated to leisure, entertainment and lifestyle.
The highly anticipated theme park, the first of the genus in the Middle East, has already captured the imagination of thousands of people around the world with a range of unique and exciting attractions including Red Formula, the fastest roller coaster in the world, and Speed of Magic, the first 4-dimensional fantasy tour in the region. Today, the families in the United Arab Emirates and the fans of theme parks around the world have been meeting in Abu Dhabi to be among the first to experience these attractions.
The Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is the largest covered theme park in the world and the first Ferrari theme. It offers an intense multi-sensory experience, unmissable for fans, fans and families. Today’s soft opening marks the beginning of an inaugural period that will last until the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and culminate in a grand opening ceremony on 30 November 2010.
