The application, developed by the Ministry of Tourism through Embratur, is in fact accessible free of charge through the wireless network provided by Infraero at the main Brazilian airports and allows you to quickly access information on the local historical and architectural heritage, cultural events, outdoor activities, fun and shopping. Not only: the guide also provides pictures and maps via Google Maps, through which the visitor can identify the nearest attraction of interest.
In addition to showing visitors the cultural and natural diversity of Brazilian destinations and promoting the image of the country as a modern destination, the aim is to facilitate tourist stay in Brazil since its arrival at the airport, increasing the visibility of Brazil as a global tourist destination. If you prefer, you can download the application even before you leave Italy from the WAP page directly on your mobile phone at Embratur.gov.br/mobile or from your home computer at Braziltour. com/mobile.
A dedicated signpost – in English and Spanish – was installed in the arrival halls of international airports, so as to provide information on the installation and use of the application. For iPhone models, the application must be downloaded from Apple Store. The guide is available in Portuguese, English and Spanish. In addition to the destination information, you will also have a conversation guide that will assist you in communication in Portuguese language helping you to interact more easily with Brazilians.
