If you love street food, mark on the agenda Stragus, the tasty festival that returns to animate the ancient square of the Fish Market Trapani from 24 to 27 July.
A well-established tradition, that of Stragusto, a gastronomic event that for six years offers an ideal journey through traditions, flavors and different cultures, coming from the Italian regions and from international countries.
Among the news this year street food from the Basque Country, "foreign hosts" of this edition, which will offer the best of street food territorial. And then again Palestinian food such as kebab or falafel, lampredotto and trippa toscana and a section dedicated to the Trapanese cùscusu. Panels, oranges, hints, but also seafood, cabbuci, typical desserts, focacce, bread ca meusa, flour... there are many specialties that during the editions have characterized the goloso itinerary of the event.
In addition to the products in tasting, strictly prepared live, different will be the moments of entertainment and teaching within the event because street food is a cultural heritage to protect and value. To accompany the best of street food, wine tasting, cooking shows and cooking workshops.
The objective of Stragus is to recover and enhance the great heritage offered by street food producers, real artisans of taste, who hand down the culinary tradition of their own area of generation.
