How to become a travel blogger: Tbnetalks

How to become a travel blogger and live (happy and happy) turning the world? You ask me more and more often, especially you, readers of the Traveller Company. So much so that I thought of dedicating a special post to the topic.

So, you like to write, love travel and would like to tell the world your experiences with a blog amateur. Perfect, nothing easier: choose one of the many platforms blogging, there are also free such as overblog.com (the one on which this blog is hosted), blogger.com or wordpress.com, and in a few clicks you will be online with your travel stories. You can then upgrade blog blog, if and when you want, with new posts on your holidays and adventures, all without spending only one euro.

If you have the ambition to do the travel blogging a real job, maybe part-time so much to start and see if it works, then the thing gets complicated. Yeah, because in this case know how to write and have a passion for travel is a good starting point, but certainly not enough.

Besides a mentality neterpreneur then it takes us consistency, determination and of course a discreet mastery of the dynamics of the web and the tools that the Internet puts at our disposal. That is using social channels, Seo, web marketing and all so-called technicalities that make the difference between Amateur blogger and a professional web communication. But if you are fasting all this, don’t worry, because around is full courses and workshops of every level, on and off-line.

One of the most quoted is Tbnetalks Travel Media Forum, training event created by Tbnet Srl, which starts in a few days in Milan and that I recommend you passionately (I go there too!). Three days, from 22 to 24 May, of full-immersion with meetings and practical seminars held by major professionals in the field on concrete topics such as writing for the web or the most effective use of social media. The workshop is not only for bloggers (or aspirants such), but also for journalists and communicators, in fact the program includes speech on "hot" themes such as:

“Big Data Journalism: how the new data analysis, tools, sources and use of big data works" with Prof. Alessandro Chessa

"Tools for journalists: make mobile journalism" with Rosa Maria Christmas

"Live twitting between news and reports. How a Twitter editor works" with Marco Castelnuovo

There will be networking and entertainment, such as the evening of May 22 at BeNordic, the North-European culture promotion event organized by VisitDenmark, Visit Finland, Innovation Norway and Visit Sweden at Bou-Tek space.

I mean, so much stuff. But you should register as soon as possible here, before the seats run out. And if you cannot be present for logistic reasons, there is also the possibility to follow the most important panels comfortably from home in live streaming.
