Impossible to see The Hateful Eight, the new film Quentin Tarantino from the star cast, without being tangled by the natural scenery of Colorado. The breathtaking view of the San Juan Mountains from the canyon where Telluride is located was the reason he convinced Tarantino to make it the main location of his film. An exceptional mountain panorama with peaks that reach over 4200 meters high, the so-called "fourteeners" or "14ers", is the background to the story set after the end of the Secession War.
