Every Tuesday summer, until September 27, the Uffizi Gallery will remain open from 19.00 to 22.00. You can then visit the museum collection even in the evening and included in the price of the ticket there will also be the possibility to attend the performance of review "Uffizi Live", calendar of cultural events ranging from the most classic and contemporary repertoires and expressive languages. In July 2016 there are four nights of "Uffizi Live": medieval music to classical music, mimo theater to the magic, until the link between pictorial art and musical instruments. Here is the program:
Tuesday 5 July: the month of July opens with a suggestive concert of music and medieval singing. TheEnsemble San Felice, composed of five musicians and two singers, directed by Maestro Federico Bardazzi, proposes a refined selection, between sacred and profane, of Laying and ♪ written by the composer and musician of the fourteenth century, Francesco Landini.
Tuesday 12 July: double appointment alternating a classical music concert with a theatrical performance of mimo. In the Sala della Niobe a refined selection for harp, Between Bach and Scarlatti, of great emotional impact. At the same time, along the halls of the Gallery, the actors of the Company Down Theatre will make "speak" and "move" works of art through mimic elaborations.
Tuesday 19 July: the Ancient Liuteria Sangineto presents The painted sound – musical instruments in pictorial art, a project between music and history of art in which artists-artists reproduce faithful reconstructions of ancient musical instruments taken from the paintings of the Gallery and crafted by themselves. The instruments will return to relive and resound, each next to the picture depicting it.
Tuesday 26 July: closes the month of July an original spectacle of illusionism and magic designed specifically for the works of art of the Uffizi Gallery. The Bustric magician, in the form of a sympathetic "night look" of the museum, will accompany visitors in a colorful and poetic travelling journey along the museum halls, in front of the works. A funny dialogue on the theme of perspective illusion in painting.
