Côte d'Azur what to see
Menton: Biovès Gardens
Arriving from Italy, the first stop is in Menton, the city of lemons, famous for its botanical areas already in the eighteenth century. Here you can visit the first ephemeral gardens at Biovès gardens, located in the center of the city, which bears the name of the mayor of Menton at the end of the 19th century. Set on the cover of the river Careï, this 800-metre walk runs along the whole year, flowering meadows, exotic essences, sculptures and fountains.
A circuit of exceptional gardens, organized by the heritage service, allows you to discover other magnificent spaces, from the Serre de la Madone garden to the Colombières and Fontana Rosa Gardens, all concrete examples of the enhancement of the botanical heritage.

And it is a botanical journey through the continents Paillon walk, where the two ephemeral gardens are set. A short distance is the Barrière Le Majestic Cannes, one of the legendary palace hotel of the Croisette from the star reception: the ideal accommodation from which to start to discover the many attractions of the Festival of the Gardens of the French Riviera.
Grasse: Garden of Villa Fragonard
Sure in this itinerary you can not miss a stop in Grasse, the capital of perfume. An activity, that of perfumers, which could soon be recognized by UNESCO as part of the intangible heritage for the "savoir-faire of perfume plants".
