Beachcomber Discovery, an exciting Adventure Game 2.0, brought me, as sent by the Travel Agency magazine, to discover the most authentic soul of Mauritius and the luxurious Beachcomber Hotels and Resort. The idea of making thirty Italian travel agents and journalists live an adventure on the road in the heart of experiences at high rate of fun and involvement is in fact the most important chain of luxury hotels of Mauritius.
That instead of the usual fam trip made of boring site inspections one way another, has invented a team adventure in style Beijing Express up and down the streets of the island of the Indian Ocean.
So in a week we tried to collect tea leaves in the Bois Cheri estate, one of the oldest plantations in Mauritius; we learned everything, but all about sugar, white gold on the island, at the Avenue du Sucre.
We also entered the elegant colonial residences and in the kitchens of the Canonnier for a cooking contest at the Master Chef; we tried the thrill of driving left during the rally between the villages of the north and the emotion of swing on the green of the Paradis Golf Club.
And of course we tested the unsurpassed hospitality of the Beachcomber Hotels and Resort: Shandrani, Dinarobin, Paradis, Mauricia, Canonnier, Victoria and Trou aux Biches, which welcomed us at the end of each stage with surprises and special events.
From the fireworks festival to the Paradis to the Indian dinner and the gala evening on the beach at the Trou aux Biches, which made us live to the bottom the magical atmosphere of these resorts located in the most spectacular locations of the island.
