Goloso itinerary in chocolate Turin

What better occasion, then, to go to the discovery of some of the places symbol of the Tuscan chocolate tradition, following this itinerary in five sweets, but unmissable stages.

1. Choco-Story: the Chocolate and Gianduja Museum (Via Paolo Sacchi 42)

In the centre, under the arcades of the historic Via Paolo Sacchi, is Choco-Story, the first museum entirely dedicated to chocolate and janduia. Located in the basement of the former Pfatish bakery workshop, this innovative space accompanies visitors on a journey into cocoa history, from Maya to the 1900s, through over 700 historical findings, interactive installations, and the possibility to participate in sensory tastings.

The museum also offers laboratories to create their own custom tablets, licking and pralines under the guidance of expert chocolate masters.
An experience not to be missed is the Choco Tram, an exclusive tour on board a historic tram of the early 1900s, which starts right from Choco-Story and crosses the city by telling anecdotes about the history of Turin and its connection with chocolate.

2. Coffee Baratti & Milan (Piazza Castello 27)

Founded in 1858 by the confettieri Ferdinando Baratti and Edoardo Milano, this historic café is a Turinese institution. Here the famous dusk was born, which together with the janduiotto became a symbol of the city. The place, known for its elegance and refinement, has inspired even the poet Guido Gozzano, who celebrated it in his poem Le Golose.
In 2025, Baratti & Milan celebrates its 150th anniversary with a new collaboration with the Alciati family, excellence of Piedmontese cuisine, to further enrich its gastronomic offer.

3. La Perla di Torino (Via Catania 9)

This company, founded in 1992 by Sergio Arzilli, is known for the artisanal production of gluten-free chocolate. Born from passion and innovation, the La Perla laboratory is a reference point for those looking for sweet delicacies suitable for those with food intolerances.
The Pearl of Turin offers tastings and workshops where visitors can make their own chocolate tablet, experimenting with different decoration techniques.

4. Ziccat – The art of chocolate since 1958 (Via Pietro Micca 2h)

Since 1958, Ziccat represents the perfect fusion between tradition and innovation. His master chocolatemakers, young but experienced, carry out an artisan production that made the brand famous. In addition to the classic janduiotti and cremini, Ziccat offers a variety of products that combine high quality ingredients with new and amazing combinations of flavors.

5. Guido Gobino – The art of janduiotto (Via Lagrange 1)

Finally, we cannot talk about Turin chocolate without mentioning Guido Gobino, undisputed master of the janduiotto. In its elegant shop in Via Lagrange, you can taste its creations, including the famous Giandujotto Tourinot, a smaller but intense version of the traditional Turinese chocolate.

CioccolaTò 2025 will therefore not only be a celebration of chocolate, but a journey through the history and culture of Turin, a city that has been able to transform cocoa into an art. Whether it's a tasting, a workshop or a visit to historic cafes, every experience will be a tribute to the traditional Turin chocolate shop, able to conquer the palate and the heart of all visitors.
