From 23 to 25 September the famous Galway Oyster Festival in Ireland, the pantagruelica festival dedicated to the opening of the oyster season that every year attracts thousands of people in the pretty city overlooking the north-western coast of Ireland. You need to open 30 oysters and place them properly on the wooden tray in less than 3 minutes.
All appointments of Galway Oyster Festival start on Friday with Seafood Dinearound – Galway’s First Ever Moveable Feast, the first goloso event to book: Galway’s best restaurants prepare a delicious dinner – of course – of fish with black buttered bread and wine. Saturday morning is the opening parade of the festival, with the colorful procession presided over by the mayor and Miss Galway Oyster Pearl (elected for the party).
