W Prague, Where Tradition and Innovation Meet
The extraordinary renovation has been able to preserve the historical character of the building, adding a contemporary 9-storey elliptical wing. The colour palette, inspired by the original tones of the building, uses natural shades such as yellow, beige, terracotta, dark grey and green, recalling the stucco decorations. In addition to meticulous restoration, the project has incorporated elements inspired by the magical concept of "Elisir", a symbolic blend of tradition and innovation, nature and industry, reality and fantasy. This theme is reflected in the enchanting facade, in the welcoming common spaces and in the distinctive totem of W Hotels that guides guests between the historic building and the contemporary wing.
A Design That Tells Stories
Among the most striking elements of design emerges the "Fantastical Garden", a corridor decorated with botanical motifs and dream animals created by the London studio Adam Ellis. This visually fascinating passage is decorated with unique embroidery depicting flora, fauna and creatures such as hummingbirds, bees and butterflies, illuminated by floral chandeliers of Preciosa Lighting. The main inspiration for design comes from the oniric art of Alphonse Mucha, famous Czech artist of Art Nouveau.

The 161 hotel rooms and suites, including the spectacular WOW Bohemia Duplex and the E-WOW Suite, offer refined interiors that combine luxurious materials and contemporary accents. The WOW Bohemia Duplex, located in the historic building, is characterized by restored beams and windows with decorative arches, enriched by a palette of intense colors garnet. The E-WOW Suite, a modern interpretation of Presidential Suite, occupies the 8th floor of the new building and combines details inspired by contemporary architecture with elements of Art Nouveau style.
High Level Culinary Experience
The gastronomic offer of W Prague is equally ambitious. The Grand Café, once the epicentre of the world of Prague in the 1920s, was renewed in collaboration with the famous Monaco restaurateur Riccardo Giraudi. Here. Le Petit Beefbar offers a high-level experience that is detached from traditional steakhouses, focusing on sharing concepts and dishes prepared with local and international fine meats.

The W Lounge, located on the ground floor of the contemporary wing, serves as a social epicentre of the hotel. With blue, green and terracotta furniture, the space is transformed from a morning shelter to a lively evening meeting point. The adjacent W Lounge Garden, a lush interior terrace, offers an oasis of tranquility in the heart of the city. Guests can enjoy cocktails and dishes to share, accompanied by a soundtrack curated by music curator Adriana Mižigárová.
For those looking for a more intimate environment, Bisou bar is the ideal place to sip coffee, local wines and champagne. During spring and summer, l’Above Rooftop offers breathtaking views on the skyline of Prague, accompanied by refreshing drinks, great food and musical rhythms. Minus One, on the other hand, is located in the basement and offers innovative cocktails created by the award-winning mixologist Jan Šebek, transforming the space into a hall for shows and lounges. A hidden room, wrapped by drapes at full height, offers an exclusive retreat for private tastings and social meetings.

Artworks and Unique Installations
The art installations of W Prague, curated by Adam Ellis Studio and local artists, enrich the experience of guests with touches of creativity and refinement. Among the highlights are the psychedelic wall art of the bar Bisou and the garden mural by Michael Škapa, which is the centerpiece of the W Lounge Garden. The restored lobby, with stucco details of 1905 and illustrations of 1925, shines thanks to an installation of handmade crystals created by Preciosa Lighting and Pavla Doležalová, which symbolizes the Bohemian heritage.
