Genoa travel capital and travellers. It happens on the long weekend from Wednesday 30 April to Sunday 4 May, the last of the holidays bridges of this lucky spring that is giving us so many opportunities to start, when in the scenic location of Porto Antico goes on stage Traveling the World, the festival of travel, but especially to all of us travelers.
I therefore recommend you to mark this event of over 50 events on the agenda, including meetings, presentations of books, exhibitions, films, debates, conferences, music and tastings focused on the theme of travel, understood as a multisensory experience, exchange of cultures, knowledge, relationships, but without ever losing sight of the themes of sustainability, ethics and hospitality. All declined in five threads: Traveling the Sea, Traveling for Countries and Regions, Travellingthemondo Woman, Traveling with the Five Senses and Traveling on the Net.
And here we come in. Yes, because with Compagnia dei Viaggiatori, together with his friend Cristiano Guidetti, blogger of Travel, we will be for TBNet (Travel Blogger Network) among the animators of this thread dedicated to the traveler 2.0, increasingly connected, social and smart.
The appointment is for Saturday afternoon 3 May at 3 pm at SpazioIncontro Traveling the World in Piazza Caricamento, where we will talk about the world of travel bloggers, how to become it, but also of all those tools and apps now become indispensable companions of the smart traveller, useful to discover the best rates, organize trips and holidays saving and then share their adventures with friends on the net.
And it's not over. In fact, for the duration of the Festival, Christian and I will be the voice of Traveling the World, day by day here on the blog and live on social, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, where you can follow us with the hashtag #viaggiandoilmondo. But of course my advice is to take a leap to Genoa to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the festival, meet a sea of people who share our same passion for travel and maybe finally meet us in person.
Running the preview program (the complete one you find here), there are so many events that intrigu me and I recommend not to miss you too. Here are some anticipations:
